PART OF THE BASEL-JURA INNOVATION SYSTEM WITH LEADING INSTITUTIONS AND DYNAMIC INNOVATION INITIATIVES

Baselland is part of the Basel-Jura Regional Innovation System (RIS). In addition to the universities and colleges, the innovation system includes leading educational, research and work facilities such as Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area AG, CSEM Allschwil and Swiss TPH. At the same time, targeted low-threshold innovation initiatives are being launched in the canton of Basel-Landschaft.

The Basel-Jura regional innovation system is being developed with leading partners in close collaboration and networking with the educational institutions. These include the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area AG, the Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique (CSEM) in Allschwil and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH). But also the Basel Area Business & Innovation funding and networking platform with the BaseLaunch platform for healthcare companies and many other funded and private initiatives such as uptownBasel.

Low-threshold innovation initiatives

In addition, there is a whole range of important low-threshold initiatives and platforms such as the Basel Technology Park, the TechCenter Reinach, the Business Parc in Reinach and Liestal, the Business Park Baselland in Zwingen and Pratteln, the Tenum, the Startup Academy in Liestal and the R&D Campus GmbH in Reinach. They support innovations on their way to the market.
