New Regional Policy (NRP) in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft

With the New Regional Policy (NRP), the federal government and the cantons are jointly promoting economic development in rural areas, mountain regions and border regions.

For the 2024-2027 funding period, the canton of Basel-Landschaft is launching its own NRP implementation program for the first time. The funding priorities are in the areas of trade, industry, services and tourism, with a particular focus on the local economy and the cross-cutting issues of digitalization and sustainability.

This gives regional players the opportunity to work together on projects or to develop project ideas for their region.
